Rest Like God

By the seventh day, God had completed creating his masterpiece, so on the seventh day, he rested from all his work. So God blessed the seventh day and made it sacred, because on it, he paused to rest from all his work of creation. Genesis 2:2-3 The Rest in this passage, becomes the weekly circadian rhythm and anchor for the Sabbath commandment in Exodus 20:8-11 where God’s people were told to rest like God rested.
